Toshiro je najmladší zo všetkých kapitánov divízií. Na svoj vek ma lae úžasné schopnosti. Jeho zanpakutou Hyiourinmaru je považovaná za najsilnejšiu zanpakutou vodnej podstaty. Hitsugaya sa už od mala priatelí s Hinamori Momo, podkapitánkov piatej divízie. Rangiku Matsumoto je to podkapitánka a dosť výrazná najmä ak sa postaví ku kapitánovi, ktorý je o dosť nižší.

Hitsugaya Toshirou

Captain of the 10th division and the youngest ever captain in the history of Soul Society. Hitsugaya carries the strongest ice based Zanpakutou which allows him to disable enemies with freezing ice abilities.

Requirement to unlock: Mission: The Youngest Captain

Skill:
Set Upon the Frosted Heavens, Hyourinmaru

Hitsugaya releases his Zanpakutou freezing one enemy in their tracks. One enemy target is unable to perform physical and reiatsu skills for 1 turn (This is a stun effect) and will take 25 reiatsu damage.

Hitsugaya activates his bankai and covers the battlefield in mist gaining 15 points of damage reduction against physical and reiatsu damage; the enemy team will deal 5 less physical and reiatsu damage for 2 turns. This skill ends when Hitsugaya dies. During this time, Dragon Hail Flower can be used.

Hitsugaya stabs one enemy and traps them in ice. Deals 40 reiatsu damage to one enemy, any physical damage dealt by the target is reduced by 10 points permanently. All other enemies take 20 reiatsu damage and are stunned for 1 turn.
